PM Shehbaz directs completion of privatisation programmes according to agreed timelines

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday directed officials to complete all stages of the government’s privatisation programme within the prescribed timelines. Presiding over a meeting in Islamabad reviewing the privatisation of state-owned enterprises, the prime minister instructed relevant ministries and institutions to work in close coordination to ensure that all targets and deadlines under the privatisation programme were met, according to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
