Notice issued to DG LDA on contempt of court petition
LAHORE February 16 (News Inspection) The Lahore High Court (LHC) Tuesday issued notices to Director General (DG) Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Ahmed Aziz Tarar on a contempt of court petition.
The court also sought reply from LDA director Rabia Reyast on February 22 on a contempt of court petition.
According to the details, the petitioner said that he was a successful bidder for the lease of petrol pump in LDA Avenue One.
After successful bidding, he deposited Rs 12 million as collateral with LDA.
The LDA twice issued a newspaper advertisement for the lease of a petrol pump in which he was a successful bidder.
A case is also pending in the Lahore High Court against non-leasing of petrol pumps despite being a successful bidder.
Despite the restraining order, the LDA has issued a newspaper advertisement for auction for the third time on the lease of the same petrol pump.
According to the newspaper advertisement, the auction of LDA Avenue One petrol pump is going to be held on February 23.
The petitioner sought contempt of court action against DG LDA for violating the court order.
