Islamabad traffic accident: Kashmala Tariq’s son gets relief
ISLAMABAD February 16 (News Inspection) The heirs of 2 out of 4 youths killed in Sector G-11 traffic accident in Islamabad have pardoned the son and driver of Federal Ombudsman for Harassment Kashmala Tariq
Kashmala Tariq’s son Azlan’s interim bail application was heard in the court by Additional Sessions Judge Sheikh Muhammad Sohail, during which the accused’s lawyer presented the affidavits of reconciliation with the families of the two youths.
On this occasion, the lawyer said that heirs of 2 Adil and Tariq out of 4 youths who died in the accident agreed to pardon the accused while reconciliation with the third is also possible soon.
The lawyer requested the court to grant bail to the accused as the provisions in the case are bailable.
The lawyer said that the two parties were shown videos available with the police and media on which the family members said that the innocent was blamed for the accident.
Opposing the bail application, the public prosecutor took the position that the license offered by the accused has not been verified yet while 4 persons have been killed in the accident, therefore the bail should be canceled.
The court extended the interim bail of the accused till February 24 and ordered the investigating officer to present the accused Azlan’s license at the next hearing.
