SHO among 11 cops booked over raid on Attorney General for Pakistan Mansoor Awan's house in Lahore

LAHORE: Eleven police officials, including the station house officer (SHO) of Sarwar Road police station, have been booked and charge-sheeted after they allegedly raided the residence of Attorney General for Pakistan Mansoor Awan in Lahore and harassed household staff, exceeding their lawful authority. According to the police, the SHO, Irfan, has obtained interim bail from a court. According to the FIR, a police party led by Sarwar Road SHO entered the attorney general’s residence at around 6pm on July 27 after scaling the main gate.
