HYDERABAD: An Indonesian woman, Indah Marlyan, was recovered under judicial orders and handed over to her country’s consulate by the district police on Saturday. The woman had married a man, Naik Mohammad Shaikh alias Mohammad Hamza Mirza. She had submitted a complaint to the consulate alleging that she was being subjected to domestic violence. The consulate took up the matter with Sindh government functionaries and an application was filed through the women development department before the additional district judge-V under Section 491 Cr.PC for her recovery.
