KARACHI: Parts of Karachi received light rain on Saturday, with the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicting more showers till Monday. Light rain was reported in Gulshan-i-Maymar, Gulshan-i-Hadeed, Super Highway and nearby areas, DawnNewsTv reported. Meanwhile, the PMD has predicted light to moderate rain with dust and thunderstorm in Karachi from today till August 3. According to the forecast, a westerly wave, affecting the northern areas, is likely to strengthen and affect upper and central parts of the country. Under the influence of the system, moderate rainfall with dust and thunderstorms is likely in Karachi from Saturday (today) till Monday with occasional gaps, it said.…
