Israel says it destroyed Hezbollah underground infrastructure at Ali Al-Taher ridge

BEIRUT: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz said on Thursday that the military had destroyed what they described as Hezbollah’s underground infrastructure on Lebanon’s Ali Al-Taher ridge in southern Lebanon, completing Israel’s establishment of a “security zone” in the area.In a joint statement, Netanyahu and Katz said the operation was conducted under their direction and targeted an underground network they said belonged to the Iran-backed Lebanese group.T
