Ex-Sindh minister seeks FIR against ex-wife over AI-edited pictures

KARACHI: Former Sindh minister Ghulam Rasool Unnar has allegedly fallen victim to artificial intelligence (AI) technology, claiming that he discovered after his marriage that pictures of his ex-wife that she had shared with him had been edited and altered using AI. Unnar approa­ched a sessions court seeking registration of an FIR against his ex-wife, Razia Arbab, under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) He informed the court that he had come into contact with Ms Arbab through social media platforms.
