Hyderabad Kingsmen powered into Eliminator 2 of HBL PSL 11 with a thumping eight-wicket win over Multan Sultans at Gaddafi Stadium on Wednesday night, keeping their remarkable turnaround alive. In the first HBL PSL 11 match in Lahore with fans in attendance, the Kingsmen chased down 160 with 28 balls to spare. It was their sixth win in seven games after losing their first four, and it sets up a showdown with Islamabad United on Friday, 1 May. After losing Marnus Labuschagne for 11 to Mohammad Ismail at 18-1, Maaz Sadaqat (64_ off 33, 4x4s, 5x6s) and Usman Khan (64 off 35, 8x4s, 3x6s) took complete control. The pair added 102 in just 53 balls for the second wicket. Usman reached his fifty in 29 balls in the ninth over before falling at 120-2 in the 11th.
